Great Sales Activity reported for homes in Desert Shores for the month of January with 16 reported closings or a 45% increase compared to January of 2013. While the Median Sales price decreased 6.6% year over year, the median size of sold homes was 14.7% smaller and the Median dollar per square foot increased 9%.
The highest reported Desert Shores home sale on the Las Vegas Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in January of 2014 was 7928 Castellon Ct. in the gated community of Mediterranean Cove that was not even a Waterfront property.

A Master planned community in Northwest Las Vegas planned in the 1980’s, Desert Shores has always been one of those communities that can be a challenge for novice real estate buyers and even Las Vegas Real Estate agents in properly determining a home’s market value. Third party Non Realtor sites that do automatic online evaluations are normally completely way off wrong about a home’s estimated market value in Desert Shores.
